Class Supplies

CLASS SUPPLIES

By popular demand the school is sending out this partial list of class supplies for your students.  This is passed out on Monday, unique to each class/teacher, and the students have through the full week to go out and get what they need.  If it helps you to have this weekend for shopping, here are some of the lists, but not all.  If your student had Mr. Halloran on their schedule, that teacher’s name is Mr. Menotti.  (It was not known at the time of the mailing)

Mr. Corbin Johnson: (all classes)

- (1) 1.5" 3-ring binder

- Pens (blue or black) or pencils, whichever you prefer

- Red pens

- Paper on which to take notes (loose leaf, spiral notebook, or composition notebook all are acceptable as long as you can stay organized)

 Mrs. Amanda Gable: (all classes)
-
Graphing Calculator (TI-84 or higher is recommended.  TI-84 will be used for demonstration in class.)
- Organization System for Class Materials (Binder with tabs, paper, etc. or Folder/Notebook combination). - I do not require a specific system of organization; you may use whatever you have found works best for you, but it must allow you to maintain and organize your notes, handouts, returned homework, tests, projects, etc.
- Pencils and erasers
- Different colored pen/pencil for marking
- Loose leaf Paper

- Graph Paper (quadrille ruled paper)
- Ruler or similar Straight-Edge (Protractor, Drafting Triangle, etc.)
- Book Cover

Mrs. Gable's Wish List (not required, but greatly appreciated):
** These supplies will be used for the class as a whole.  Please consider contributing one or two items for the year.
- Dry Erase Markers
- Kleenex
- #2 Pencils
- Colored Pencils
- Sharpe Markers (black and colored)
- Clorox Wipes
- Book or Packing Tape                -Thanks!!

Mr. James Bentz (all classes)
1) Three subject notebooks, preferably the "5-Star" 3 subject notebook (from Mead). They hold up best under the savage and unnatural conditions found in most high-school lockers.
2) Index cards, any size, for reading/presentation projects. I know these get used in other classes, too, so if you see them at a good price, buy a bunch.
3) Highlighters, any colors (for reading projects)
4) Optional: highlighters in packs with orange, blue, pink and green (I will have these on hand in class; however, some students may want to keep their own set...and that would be great!
5) Writing instruments: pencils or pens, sharpeners, etc.
6) Lined paper (college ruled) for binders and written assignments. I beg students NOT to tear paper out of their 3-subject notebooks. This is more important than ever this year.
