University of Utah Scholarship Opportunity!
The ACCESS Program for Women in Science and Mathematics at the
University of Utah is looking for interested students. The ACCESS
program's seven-week summer science course is designed to introduce
students to university-level study in science and mathematics. Then,
during the freshman year, each student is placed in a university research
lab in the field of her choice. Often, this leads to work in the lab throughout
her college years, giving many students the opportunity to publish or even
present their research at professional conferences-an almost unheard of
opportunity for undergraduates! The dates for the summer course are
June 18- August 2,2012. And it comes with a $3,500.00 cash stipend
that doesn't conflict with other merit scholarships they may earn!
