Making a Saint Joseph Education Possible
We know every family’s circumstances are unique. Financial assistance is available to qualifying families based on demonstrated need, helping make a Saint Joseph education accessible to more students. We encourage families to explore the opportunities available and apply.
Saint Joseph Catholic High School is committed to making a Catholic education accessible to as many families as possible. Each year, we provide more than $500,000 in tuition assistance to help families choose Saint Joe’s without allowing financial concerns to stand in the way of a Saint Joseph education.

Apply for Assistance
Apply online through the FACTS platform. A $35 non-refundable application fee applies. Your financial information will be reviewed confidentially as part of the assistance process. Once your application is complete, Saint Joseph will review your information and follow up with you regarding next steps.

The Utah Fits All Scholarship provides eligible Utah K–12 students with up to $8,000 per year to help cover approved educational expenses, including private school tuition. This program can provide families with additional flexibility as they consider a Saint Joseph education.
All Utah K–12 students are eligible to apply, regardless of their current school setting or family income, although scholarships are awarded according to the program’s established eligibility and priority rules.
The application window opens each spring. Families should visit the official Utah Fits All website for the most current dates, requirements, and application information.

ACE Scholarships provide need-based assistance to help qualifying Utah families access a private school education. Scholarships are intended to provide partial tuition assistance for families who may need additional support.
For Utah, scholarship awards can cover up to 50% of private school tuition, with awards of up to $4,000 for high school students. Award amounts may vary based on individual circumstances and available funding.
Families are responsible for any remaining tuition and fees not covered by the ACE scholarship.

The Children First Education Fund administers the Carson Smith Opportunity Scholarship, providing scholarship support for eligible Utah students with disabilities. For the 2026–27 school year, qualifying K–12 private-school students may receive up to $12,175 toward approved educational expenses, including private school tuition and fees. Eligibility is based on requirements including Utah residency and a documented qualifying disability under IDEA.
Families can apply through the Children First Education Fund and should review current eligibility requirements and application information to determine whether their student qualifies.

The Skaggs Tuition Assistance Program is designed to help Catholic families who may have difficulty covering the full cost of tuition. Assistance is need-based and requires a referral and application for consideration. Families who qualify may receive additional support toward tuition, helping make a Catholic education more accessible.
Scholarships Opportunities
Earn Tuition Credit
Our families are one of the best ways to introduce new families to the Saint Joseph community. When a current Saint Joseph family refers a new student who applies, is accepted, and enrolls, the referring family receives a one-time $500 tuition credit.
Referral must be for a new student entering Kindergarten–12th grade.
The referring family may earn a $500 credit for each eligible new student referred.
The tuition credit will be applied in January of the student’s enrollment year.
